It’s always fun to put forward some predictions, so one staff writer decided to guess the final practice squad for the Chiefs.

Over the next few days, every NFL team’s practice squad of 10 players will come together for the 2018 season. For our purposes, I’ll attempt to make a prediction of what the Chiefs own PS could look like when the smoke clears.

With 37 names dropped from the Chiefs and close to 1,200 total players released league-wide, there are countless options how this could turn out. I am however just crazy enough to make an attempt at this. A lot of practice squad guys will be our own guys returning that we just let go, however some other teams might have something to say about that.

So, here it goes a look into the future at Chiefs possible 10-man practice Squad.

Chase Litton – QB

Chase Litton looked good since being picked up as a undrafted free agent just a few months back. He had a strong camp as well as a strong preseason. If he does indeed make it through the waiver process expect Litton to be one of the 1st practice squad candidates.

Ryan Hunter – OL

Ryan Hunter is another we can only hope clears through waivers. He I have to assume was one of their tough decisions here. A young guy with tons of upside or one of the veterans who are more proven. We know now they went with the experience, but Hunter is a sure-fire hit for the practice squad if he is still available.

Blake Mack – TE/WR

Blake Mack showed a lot of fight and determination in training camp. Mack didn’t get as much focus as I would have like in preseason though. He is a tough one to call. I like what he brings, but did he do enough to impress the Chiefs decision makers into making the practice squad.
