3. Derek Carr, Oakland Raiders

Derek Carr is the most confusing quarterback in the AFC West. After a stellar start to his career, Carr’s production and dominance has diminished. At times, he shows flashes of brilliance, worthy of the huge contract he was given. Other times, he appears to be a middle-of-the-road quarterback.

Unfortunately for the Oakland Raiders, if Jon Gruden wants to bring back “old school” football, Carr may see a further dip in production. I am so unsure about Derek Carr that I feel the need to place him at number three on this list. I could be surprised, but I am beginning to think that he is an average player.
