Quinten Rollins, S, Packers

After drafting Louisville cornerback Jaire Alexander in the 1st round and lucking themselves into Iowa corner Josh Jackson in the 2nd, the Green Bay Packers have added some real talent to their secondary. They also have some real decisions to make.

The Packers had already made some significant investments in their secondary as they attempt to reshape their unit radically. They drafted Kevin King last year, and they also have Davon House and Tramon Williams likely in front of both new rookies—at least for the time being. Josh Hawkins is another talented option in subpackages. That squeezes Quinten Rollins for playing time even more.

Rollins is an athletic player who saw time in the slot for Green Bay. Rollins fits better as a safety for the Chiefs. The Packers have some decisions to make under new defensive coordinator Mike Pettine, and the Chiefs may be able to help them make those decision by offering a trade for Rollins. Rollins, in my opinion, has the ability to play single high safety and that allows some other pieces of the defense to shift around.
