Amazon renewed its deal with the NFL to stream Thursday Night Football for another 11 weeks during the 2018 regular season.
For those of you wanting to check out the Kansas City Chiefs on primetime via Amazon Prime, you’re in luck as Amazon recently renewed their partnership with the National Football League for streaming rights to broadcasting games on Thursday Night Football.
As Mark Burns notes, the deal is not only for the coming season but 2019 as well:
Just In: NFL and Amazon renew their streaming partnership for Thursday Night Football. Just announced. Will be streamed globally during 2018 and 2019 seasons. Amazon Prime will stream the 11 TNF games broadcast by FOX.

The NFL has been stretching its media reach in recent years through such partnerships, allowing games to be seen on various social media formats or via new avenues like prime. Back in 2017, Amazon outbid Twitter for the rights to these games and apparently enjoyed the returns since they’ve renewed the deal between the two. Twitter settled for a deal that lacked any games but did include live video.
Kansas City Chiefs fans will enjoy some of this next year when the Chiefs suit up in a league-high (tied) five times in primetime, not including any potential flex games. One of those is against the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday Night Football, which will be one of the 11 contests ready to stream on Amazon.
