Vs. Denver Broncos

The Chiefs and Broncos have met on primetime six times in five seasons, meeting twice in 2016. The Broncos won the first three of the set, with the Chiefs winning the three most recent meetings.

Even though the Denver Broncos are coming off a 5-11 season, finishing last in the AFC west, this season should be no exception when the NFL puts together the schedule for 2018. The Chiefs and Broncos should meet on primetime for the sixth consecutive season.

Both teams are entering 2018 with new quarterbacks taking over, as Case Keenum is expected to start for the Broncos. Outside of the quarterback position, the Broncos have not made a lot of improvements this offseason.

Despite the lack of activity from the Broncos this offseason, no game should ever be taken lightly in the NFL. Especially division games. Since 2013, the Chiefs and Broncos have had some great games and memorable moments. The Broncos snapped Kansas City’s 9-0 start in 2013, Jamaal Charles’ fumble, Peyton Manning’s bad game causing him to be pulled, the game-winning field goal from Santos, the touchdown pass from nose tackle Dontari Poe and Mahomes beating the Broncos in his NFL debut.

Fans can expect to see these two on primetime, and perhaps another memorable moment to discuss for a long time.
