Isaac Yiadom – Boston College – 6’1″ – 190 pounds

Sometimes you watch a guy and just go, “Man, I want that guy on my team!” They might not be the very best player you’ve seen, but just their style of play makes you a fan. That’s how I feel about Boston College’s Isaac Yiadom. If the Chiefs don’t land a strong press corner in the second round either because the ones they like are off the board or because they liked a guy at a different position more they could certainly do worse than taking Yiadom in the mid rounds. Some rankings have him ridiculously low going in the fifth round or later. In my opinion, he should be considered in the third or fourth round.

Here’s a clip of his physical style at the line of scrimmage leading to a pass break up.

Another big plus with Yiadom is he is a standout special teams player. I’m sure Dave Toub would love to get his hands on him. So even if Yiadom wasn’t ready to start as a rookie he could still have an impact on special teams right away.

Here’s one more play to sell you on him. This is Yiadom blowing up a wide receiver screen.

Let’s look at one more.
