returns to talk a day later than normal but with plenty to discuss. We talk a look at the possible free agent additions that could really add a lot of talent to the team. The Kansas City Chiefs have several tough decisions to make in the next couple months. However, it could really open up the Chiefs to be able to spend.

Kansas City should have the ability to bring in top flight talent at cornerback. Even with that addition they could still add good talent on the defensive line and depth for the team’s pass rush as well. If the Chiefs are able to add that kind of talent to the defense, there is no reason they shouldn’t be good next season. With the announcement that Bob Sutton to return, their best chance to improve is to upgrade the overall talent on the defensive side of the Chiefs roster.

There could be a couple of more surprising cuts coming depending on whether or not the Chiefs can make an addition in certain areas. Bringing in depth to rush the passer could make Dee Ford expendable. Bringing in another good safety could put Daniel Sorensen, who was just given a four-year extension last season, on the cutting block. It’s hard not to be excited heading into this offseason. Kansas City is set up to be good next year and with the extra cap space they should be able to improve even more.
