We talk about a potential landing spot for Kansas City Chiefs QB Alex Smith and whether or not it would be a good fit for him moving forward.
With the Super Bowl set, the final two teams are locked in to the big game still two weeks away. Thirty of the NFL’s thirty two teams are done for the year and looking forward to 2018 already.
Over the next two months the Kansas City Chiefs and other teams around the league will figure out their rosters. First, they will figure out the free agents they want to keep and for how much. Then, they will also take a look at players that may be available when free agency starts in mid-March.
For the Chiefs there are way more questions than answers at this point. They have a long list of pending free agents and a couple of other players that may be on their way out without hitting free agency. The move of quarterback Alex Smith being traded to another team opens up a lot of options. Assuming that is what happens the Chiefs should have enough cap space with a couple of other easy moves to be flexible in the free agency period.

The Senior Bowl is in full force today as the players get ready for this weekend’s game. Many seniors around the U.S. are looking at this as a big opportunity to impress teams. Kansas City has always been very active at the Senior Bowl and has drafted many players based on those practices and the games. Brett Veach is most likely going to continue that tradition moving forward. We will have a very big show tomorrow with Matt Miller from Bleacher Report to give you some more insight.
