Seth Keysor from Arrowhead Pride is back to discuss the win over the Chargers and the Chiefs offensive line.

The Kansas City Chiefs offensive line played one of the best games of the year on Sunday against the Chargers. All of the lineman played well throughout the game especially Mitchell Schwartz. Eric Fisher also played well considering he was matched up most of the game with Joey Bosa or Melvin Ingram one on one. The Chiefs expect their tackles to handle their rushers by themselves and that puts tackles at a premium in Kansas City.

The interior of the offensive line probably had their best game of the season as well. Zach Fulton isn’t Mitch Morse but he is more than serviceable at center when used to his strengths. The Chiefs used him and let him win with his strength at the point of attack and it paid big dividends. Brian Witzmann also had another better than average game. He has consistently shown he is able to move in space and get out in front to block. If he continues playing this well he could develop into a good starting lineman in the coming season. Laurent Duvernay-Tardif continues to get better as he gets healthier. LDT is going to continue to get better headed into the playoffs.

Chiefs offensive lineman Eric Fisher and tight end Travis Kelce missed practice on Wednesday due to an illness. Inside linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis missed practice with his shoulder injury. Both of the players that missed because of illness should be good to go against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. If I were to guess I’d say that Pierre-Louis is likely to miss this game with his injury.
