Seth Keysor returns to talk about the Kansas City Chiefs moving forward and where they can go from here.

The Kansas City Chiefs returned to practice on Wednesday after their bye week. Unfortunately there were not as many returning as I’d hope there would be. Tamba Hali, Albert Wilson, Dee Ford, and Allen Bailey all missed practice. While they should be able to get through this week and maybe next week with those injuries you’d have hoped they’d be healthier. The rest of the team practiced in full which is a good sign for the availability of LDT and Houston. The Chiefs did have a bit of a surprise though on Wednesday. Dadi Nicolas started his three week window to return to the team from the PUP list. He was very raw last season so his impact might not be a lot but it’s a positive sign regardless.

The Chiefs aren’t the only team that are struggling with injuries headed into this game. The New York Giants announced on Wednesday that starting right tackle Justin Pugh will miss the next couple of weeks. This means that the Chiefs best player will have a chance to go up against the backup right tackle. This should be a great opportunity for Houston to take over a game.

Over the next couple of weeks the Chiefs have an opportunity to really open up a big lead in their division. The Broncos and Raiders have tougher schedules down the stretch as do the Chargers. Kansas City will be favored in every game they play throughout the remainder of the regular season. Whether or not that will translate to going 6-1, 5-2 or better remains to be seen. They have the talent to be that type of team.
