With a soft seven-game schedule forthcoming, there are reasons for optimism in Kansas City. The toughest game remaining, on paper, is a matchup with the 5-4 Buffalo Bills, but it’s possible that may tilt in favor of the Chiefs with a reported quarterback change to rookie Nathan Peterman. The Chiefs are likely to be favored in every contest going forward and have an opportunity to run the table if they can return to early-season form. Time will tell what the Chiefs can fix over the next eight weeks.
