1. Oakland Raiders

The Oakland Raiders certainly aren’t the toughest team left on the Chiefs schedule on paper, especially since their record of 3-5 has them tied for last place in the AFC West. However, they’re just one of two teams in 2017 to topple the Chiefs and that has to count for something.

In the first meeting between the two teams, it was a sloppy shootout that featured laughable officiating and even worse defensive lapses, enough that allowed Derek Carr and Amari Cooper to put on the kind of offensive display predicted by so many before the season. In other words, if the Raiders could play the Chiefs defense each week, they might look like the competitive darlings they were expected to become in every preseason predictions column printed this spring and summer.

This time around, the officials will hopefully call a much better game, one that won’t feature multiple endings and silly penalties. But the Chiefs certainly did their part to lose the game in the process and the Raiders would love nothing more than to help sink this ship by sweeping the season series between the two.
