Much of what may happen Sunday will depend on the overall health of the team (outside linebacker Dee Ford left Monday’s game and never returned). Chiefs wide receiver Albert Wilson is currently battling a hamstring injury and could be questionable for this weekend’s game in Dallas. Both of which are sure to have a deleterious effect on the team given its second half struggles at getting to Trevor Siemian and trying to produce points on Monday.

The next test may be one of sheer will for Kansas City. Can they win a tough road game, against a team with one of the league’s better offenses, in a shortened week where they’re require to travel? This is where the character of this football team is likely to show up. Every team is battling injuries of some kind at this stage. The best teams find ways to win despite such challenges.

Do you expect the Chiefs to be 7-2 heading into the bye or will Dallas prove too daunting with a banged up lineup and only a few days to prepare? Use the comment section below to begin the discussion. As always, we appreciate your readership and support.
