Matt Williamson joins us to take a deeper look at the Pittsburgh Steelers and why they have been struggling.

The Kansas City Chiefs were off today and did not have any media access. The biggest question headed into this game is obviously if Travis Kelce has passed the concussion protocol or not. While the Chiefs offense has been fantastic this season the biggest reason is because they have a three prong attack. Between Kareem Hunt, Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, a team isn’t able to just shut down one or two players and be successful.

The Chiefs will more than likely have a roster spot to deal with as Chris Conley is likely headed to IR by this afternoon. It’s possible they bring in an extra tight end or they may bring in another wide receiver. Headed into the game against Pittsburgh you would think they’d want three healthy tight ends. Gavin Escobar is still available as is Will Tye who Kansas City really liked in the draft a couple of years ago.

Kansas City could be catching the Steelers at a good time or a bad time. Pittsburgh knows how big this game is for them and after playing as bad as they did last week they may be starting to get desperate. Big Ben, Brown and Bell are still a formidable trio if Roethlisberger is able to play at even a decent level. The Steelers’ offense could run on Kansas City as well and Bell is good enough to make it a tough game by himself. The Chiefs have another winnable game on the schedule but they can’t look past Pittsburgh. The Steelers haven’t put it together yet but you know what they say about any given Sunday.
