The Chiefs showed a lot of positive things in Week 5 in their road victory over the Houston Texans on Sunday Night Football.

The Kansas City Chiefs advance to 5-0 as they defeated the Houston Texans on Sunday Night Football on the road at NRG Stadium. K.C. continues to be almost impossible to stop offensively, and hard to score on when it comes to the defensive side. There are multiple players that have stepped up big this year, either by improving over last season or stepping into a starting role for an injured teammate.

So what did we learn from last night’s win over the Texans? I think it would have to be that the Chiefs continue to find more depth as players get injured each week. Every week this season we have seen someone step up for an injured starter and contribute well.

The Chiefs have had more than their fair share of injuries just five weeks into the season. Whether it’s offense or defense we have seen countless guys step in and fill those roles. Most teams with the injuries the Chiefs have wouldn’t even be competing even close to what the Chiefs have been able to do.
