The Oakland Raiders season is going downhill fairly quickly and the latest off-the-field episode from Donald Penn feels right in line with the rest of the team.

Somehow this just makes sense. Take a moment to enjoy the scene below as various Oakland Raiders fans apparently want to fight the team they likely just paid to see, calling out offensive tackle Donald Penn in the process who gets out of his car and, well, just watch the video below before our breakdown.

Penn later took to Twitter to explain what happened, stating that the fans had thrown something at his car as he was trying to leave the stadium. He’s right in saying the fans were wanting a reaction, but he was also right to call out unruly fans who should have had better security around them.

The Raiders have now lost three games in a row after opening the season with consecutive wins. Those wins now look soft in retrospect given that the teams they beat were the Tennessee Titans and New York Jets. They’ve now lost to the Washington Redskins, Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens. Each of those teams have viable reasons to believe they’ll be playing in January, so the Raiders woes against formidable opponents continues even for another year.

For a team on a serious losing streak already on their way out of town, it somehow makes sense that Raiders fans would turn on their own just five games into the season.
