We are joined by the hosts of Locked on Texans for a crossover show to talk the upcoming game against the Houston Texans on Sunday Night Football.

There weren’t any injury updates on Tuesday, so we are still not sure how long the Chiefs will be without Laurent Duvernay-Tardif. Kansas City heads into this week with a big test on deck. This Houston Texans defensive line is very good and would be a big test with a fully healthy line. The Chiefs face the prospect of going to Houston with their interior of their line being three backups.

Kansas City’s defense will also have their hands full on Sunday night. With the emergence of Deshaun Watson the Texans offense has looked very good. They still have question marks on their offensive line but Watson helps open the offense up. The Chiefs corners will be tested early and often with this talented trio of wide receivers. DeAndre Hopkins, Braxton Miller and Will Fuller make a potent combination to face for the Chiefs defensive backfield.

The Texans will be a formidable team for the Chiefs on Sunday night but K.C. has shown they are very resilient. Kansas City has come from behind in three of the four games they have played this season so they have the ability to do it. Alex Smith is playing better than I’ve seen him play in his time with the Chiefs. The weapons he has around him right now make this offense that much more dangerous if he’s willing to take shots. Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and Kareem Hunt will prove tough for any defense. Add in the plays we’ve seen from Chris Conley and Albert Wilson and it’s hard to pick your poison.
