We take a look over the key match-ups for the Chiefs when they take on the Redskins on Monday Night Football.

The Chiefs have a tougher match up this week on national TV then we would have guessed a couple of weeks ago. The Redskins big statement win over the Raiders on Sunday night brings about several questions that need to be looked at. Does it mean that the Raiders aren’t as good as people thought they were? Or are the Redskins that much better than we thought. My guess is the Raiders aren’t as good as some thought.

There are several injuries that we will need to watch headed into this game. Mitch Morse is expected to miss at least another game or two so he is out this week. Dee Ford didn’t practice with a back injury this week. That is an injury the Chiefs just can’t afford right now. They don’t have anyone on the roster that can get after the QB behind Ford. Kevin Pierre-Louis was limited as was Eric Fisher with a back injury. If Fisher can’t play on Monday night that’s a huge loss for the Chiefs.

There were multiple Chiefs that were able to practice in full which is a great sign. Bennie Logan and De’Anthony Thomas were able to practice in full. It looks like Logan is finally getting to be fully healthy which isn’t good news for opposing offensive lines. The bigger news for a player fully practicing is that Parker Ehinger fully practiced for the first time this season. This could be a great addition to the Chiefs offensive line but probably won’t be this week. I would expect Ehinger would still be at least a week away.
