The Philadelphia Eagles visit Arrowhead Stadium in search of a 2-0 start against the Kansas City Chiefs. Here is your open thread.

The Kansas City Chiefs kick off their home schedule on Sunday against the visiting Philadelphia Eagles in a showdown of two teams who started with a Week 1 win and have good reasons to believe they’ll play in January. It also features a number of familiar faces on both sides, which will provide some interesting subplots beyond the obvious competition for two teams wanting to jump to 2-0 on the year.

The Chiefs look continue their high-powered offensive performance from a surprising week one win over the New England Patriots. Tyreek Hill had 133 receiving yards. Kareem Hunt set an NFL record with 246 yards from scrimmage, including 148 rushing yards, in his debut. Travis Kelce had less-than-desirable stats yet he also kept the Patriots defenders busy with double teams all night, so he will have his moment when teams learn to respect the other players more.

The Eagles will also hope to answer the Chiefs on both sides of the ball. Promising second-year quarterback Carson Wentz has a few new weapons to get used to. Zach Ertz is a great tight end who has been around, but wide receivers Alshon Jeffrey and Torrey Smith still have yet to find a rhythm with the offense thus far.

Eagles head coach Doug Pederson returns to Arrowhead Stadium for the first time this week to coach against his mentor, Andy Reid. It should be interesting to see if either coach seem to know something about the other that helps to tip off the game plan or certain plays.

We’d love to hear your predictions on the game. Feel free to discuss here in today’s open thread.
