The AFC West will be a fight to the end in 2017 , but who will come out on top of the best division in football?

Not only is the AFC West arguably the best division in football, all teams in the division have the four hardest schedules based on 2016 wins. While there are plenty of fans and media calling their front runners, no team is fully out of it in the West.

The Kansas City Chiefs won the AFC West last season at 12-4 having the tie breaker over the Oakland Raiders. The Chiefs swept the division in 2016, but can they do it again?

There is not a whole lot you can take away from week one games, but I wanted to see how new pieces fit into their team before doing this. Not a lot changed any of my opinions on the teams in the West. Even with the Chiefs putting the smack down on the New England Patriots to open the year.

The Chiefs have the overall most well-built team, but will they be able to top the Raiders’ high-octane offense? The Broncos’ elite defense? Will the Chargers be able to stay healthy enough to make a run for it?

Let’s look at each of the teams in the AFC West.
