We talk to the hosts of Locked on Eagles to bring you inside information to the Chiefs opponent on Sunday.

Chiefs safety Eric Berry had surgery to repair his Achilles on Tuesday and it went well. Berry was like you would expect upbeat and optimistic about what his future will bring. He said he will be ready and that he will be bringing it next year when he returns from his injury. Kansas City will miss him this season but I’m sure he will be around throughout the year.

Kansas City had Tuesday off of practice and will be back today to get ready for the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. K.C. will have a big test ahead of them with a very tough Eagles defensive front coming to town. We will have a better idea of whether the offensive line is the strength it looked like against the Patriots or if they played well against sub par competition. The Chiefs need to have more performances like they had last Thursday night from the line as it really opens things up.

The Chiefs will get a chance to play against a good young quarterback on Sunday. Carson Wentz will have his first chance to take on Bob Sutton and this Chiefs defense. Justin Houston and Dee Ford could have big games, as the Eagles offensive line isn’t great. They could also be without star left tackle Jason Peters. Kansas City will have their hands full in the secondary as the Eagles have a good stable of wideouts. Terrance Mitchell and Phillip Gaines need to be ready to go. Eric Murray will be tested early on and will need to be ready. Veteran Ron Parker’s presence becomes even larger in the defensive backfield with Eric Berry.
