The Philadelphia Eagles got some good news on Wednesday with news that left tackle Jason Peters is healthy enough to practice.

The Philadelphia Eagles already face a tall order on Sunday. Not only do they have to march into Arrowhead Stadium, the raucous home turf for the NFL’s hottest franchise per rise in power rankings, to face the Kansas City Chiefs but they will do so facing their former head coach in Andy Reid. Fortunately some potentially bad news has been mitigated with word that left tackle Jason Peters is actually going to be okay after all.

Peters went down last Sunday with a groin injury suffered at some point in the first half of the Eagles win over the Washington Redskins.

With Peters expected to be fine for Sunday, the Eagles will have their offensive line at full strength—an important front given how strong the Chiefs front seven looked against the New England Patriots in Week 1. Justin Houston is back at full-strength after a couple injury plagued years. Dee Ford is gaining his footing as an all-around pass rusher. Chris Jones, Allen Bailey and Bennie Logan can collapse the pocket up front and of course Derrick Johnson is ever-hovering in the middle.

Peters has certainly seen his fair share of great pass rushers, however. The 14-year veteran has started 160 games in his career and has earned 9 Pro Bowl nominations as well as 2 All-Pro mentions. He’s definitely going to someday land in the Eagles Hall of Fame and he’s got a solid case for a potential bust in Canton one day.
