Offensive line:
Eric Fisher
Parker Ehinger
Mitch Morse
Laurent Duvernay-Tardif
Mitchell Schwartz
Bryan Witzmann
Zach Fulton
Cameron Erving
Jordan Devey

The offensive line has a couple new faces to include among the top seven here, including holdover Bryan Witzmann who signed an extension to keep him in K.C. through 2018, and Cameron Erving, who recently came over in a trade from the Browns. Together they’re likely to be the primary back-ups along with Fulton heading into the regular season, although Witzmann could be a starter from the outset if Parker Ehinger just isn’t quite ready yet to return to the starting line-up. He’s still healing from a torn ACL suffered last year.

The good news is that the rest of the line remains healthy and everyone is signed for some time, which means the envisioned continuity with Eric Fisher, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, Mitch Schwartz and Mitch Morse is intact. The Chiefs have a real ability to grow as a young offensive front and the results should be interesting to follow from how they look now heading into Week 1 and where they might be down the home stretch of the regular season schedule.

The only real surprise here is Jordan Devey, and it’s likely that a ninth offensive lineman could actually be a spot on the roster used for another position (a la running back).
