The Kansas City Chiefs pared down the roster to the final 53 on Saturday to meet the NFL’s deadline. Here’s a closer look at the players who made it.

Right now agents are scrambling for over 1,000 players to find new homes for their clients as each team cut well over 30 players apiece. Some who are injured will find the appropriate designations. Others who go unclaimed will land on practice squads. For several teams, there will be no new home as the football career comes to an end.

The Kansas City Chiefs are a very deep team that endured fewer changes than most rosters this offseason, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t any surprises come time to trim down rosters from the 90 men who played all preseason. From some present concerns at running back to an impressive rookie at quarterback to lots of players still around for the offensive line, there’s plenty to discuss in our tour of the Chiefs offense.

Here’s a look at the players who made the cut for the Chiefs, as the depth chart stands at the end of the day on Saturday.
