We take you through the Chiefs roster and where we think the hardest cuts will be for this team.

Several hours ago, I was just about convinced that Demarcus Robinson was being cut from this Chiefs team. Marcus Kemp had continually impressed at the wide receiver position and on special teams. Robinson hadn’t done anything to stick out and be noticed. Robinson was also playing behind Kemp in week three of the preseason.

What a difference a game can make. Demarcus Robinson showed the talent we’ve been waiting to see from him since the Chiefs drafted him in the fourth round last year. Robinson had three catches for just under 130 yards and a TD which are good stats for a game let alone a half. Demarcus found himself open deep and caught two beautiful throws from rookie QB Patrick Mahomes. Robinson’s third catch was close to a 30 yard gain and it was also for a TD. For a player that has shown nothing throughout most of the preseason he picked a great night to make an impression.

Kansas City’s defense came to play against the Titans on Friday night only allowing 6 points.

Tanoh Kpassagnon played the entire game on defense at outside linebacker. It’s absurd to watch a 6’7 290 player play outside linebacker in the NFL. Tanoh looks to be a player that offers great versatility to this Chiefs team in the future at both defensive lineman and linebacker. Kpassagnon will not get a lot of time this season but he will be an animal when they get him coached up.

Another defensive stand out of the night was Ukeme Eligwe. Eligwe was all over the field for the Chiefs in the first half. He had multiple tackles on the first drive and then even ended up with a pass he batted down and intercepted. Kansas City’s talent at inside linebacker is better than it’s ever been since Andy Reid arrived.
