Ronnie Hillman

Last Team: Dallas Cowboys
Last Year: 41 carries, 131 yards, 0 touchdowns, 3.2 yards/carry

Ronnie Hillman should be a familiar name after a few productive years with the Denver Broncos. As a member of the Chiefs’ division rivals, Hillman enjoyed his best years playing against the Chiefs and the rest of the AFC West, yet even the peak of that season wasn’t all that impressive—with a career high clip of 4.2 yards/carry back in 2015.

Last year, Hillman’s NFL career took a real nosedive as he failed to find a long-term home with either the Minnesota Vikings or (then) San Diego Chargers. The fact that the Vikings hit reset completely at running back—drafting Dalvin Cook, signing Latavius Murray—tells you they didn’t like what they saw from Hillman.

Chiefs interests? Not a chance. Hillman would likely be akin to keeping Devine Redding, the rookie free agent back already on the roster for the Chiefs from Indiana.
