Chris Clark has a brand new final roster projection for the offense after the Chiefs third preseason game.

zh the Kansas City Chiefs third preseason game behind us, only one more game remains for players to separate themselves from the pack for the front office and coaching staff. The Chiefs will play the Tennessee Titans on Thursday and then the roster cuts will begin. Here’s our fourth version of offensive projections for the Chiefs final roster.

Quarterbacks

Alex Smith – Smith played great the first two weeks but struggled in week three.

Patrick Mahomes – Mahomes finally showed signs of being a rookie this past week, still the backup though.

Tyler Bray – Bray will be the third string QB this year.

Running backs

Kareem Hunt – Hunt will be the starter at running back with the injury to Spencer Ware.

CJ Spiller – Spiller should have made the team regardless but is now definitely on the team with the injury to Ware.

Charcandrick West – West could have been cut but will now be on the roster.

Anthony Sherman – Still one of the best fullbacks in the NFL.

Wide Receivers

Tyreek Hill – Bad game against the Seahawks, hope it’s an anamoly.

Chris Conley – Conley is the only starting wideout without a drop against the Seahawks but still the number 2 WR.

Albert Wilson – This is a reflection of what I think Kansas City will do not what I would do.

De’Anthony Thomas – Thomas has continued to look good as a returner and as a wideout.

Jehu Chesson – Chesson is above everyone else left because of draft status and age. Will need to be solid on special teams.

Marcus Kemp  – I’m not positive this happens. What isn’t making sense to me is Robinson hasn’t gotten snaps ahead of Kemp for the past couple weeks. Kemp is really showing signs of being great at special teams as well with a punt block and a great tackle on a kickoff.

Tight ends

Travis Kelce – Superstar. Best TE in the NFL.

Demetrius Harris – Has looked great throughout the preseason.

Ross Travis – I really think he’s the third tight end on this roster at this point.

Gavin Escobar – Feeling less and less confident about him making the team. Orson Charles brings positional versatility as he can play at FB as well.

Offensive linemen

Eric Fisher – Starting left tackle.

Mitchell Schwartz – Starting right tackle.

Jah Reid – Still think he’s the swing tackle for now.

Laurent Duvernay-Tardif – Best guard in the preseason.

Bryan Witzmann – Starting left guard.

Zach Fulton – Very versatile lineman that can play all the interior spots well.

Parker Ehinger – Still making his way back from injury. Hard to know if he regains his starting position this year.

Mitch Morse – Starting center.
