4. The defense will be better in all facets

First of all, if you happened to have the Chiefs defense on your fantasy team last year, then you probably know how good they were. If you remember, that side of the ball was marred with injuries last year as well.

How could the Chiefs defense not get better? As of the end of OTAs, every one of those injured last year are expected to be close to if not already 100 percent by Week 1. In addition to being healthy, the signing of Bennie Logan via free agency is an upgrade of sorts defensively. While Dontari Poe was a fan favorite, they loved him more for his antics on the offensive side of the ball rather than his defensive play.

Bring in rookie Tanoh Kpassagnon, and add another year under the belts of players like Chris Jones and Marcus Peters, and there is strength and toughness every you look. Now welcome back those injured last year in players like Allen Bailey, Justin Houston, and Derrick Johnson. Add a cherry on top in the form of Eric Berry, the motor of this Chiefs defense, and you have a championship formula.

This is the most practical of my predictions, and this wicked defense should not disappoint.
