Tamba Hali sets release date for new single, “The One For Me”

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Tamba Hali has set a release date for his forthcoming single, “The One For Me”.
The Kansas City Chiefs are a creative bunch these days. When they’re not on the field, several Chiefs players are busy using their creative gifts to explore life outside football and express themselves in new ways. Whether it’s Leon McQuay III’s work as a producer or Chris Conley’s filmmaking, the Chiefs have plenty of fun interests to follow off the field. Tamba Hali, one of the team’s leaders and all-time great defenders, is one such player with a burgeoning musical career of his own.
“The One For Me” is the latest single from Hali, produced by Masterkraft, a Nigerian music producer.
Hali has put out several tracks over the years, and you can catch several songs at the linebacker’s SoundCloud page. Hali has some real skills here and it will be interesting to see if he pursues music full time after leaving the game of football (although we’re not keen for that to happen anytime soon). Certainly many players can struggle wondering what to do when they hang up the cleats for the last time, but Hali has already found something he’s quite passionate about in addition to the sport that pays him so well.
Hali played in all 16 games for the Chiefs last year and 34 total tackles and 3.5 sacks, bringing his career total to 89.5
