Chiefs sign Eric Berry to extension
Dorsey had very little leverage in this transaction. After Berry was already the game’s highest paid safety for several years in the NFL, he made $10.8 million in 2016 after the first franchise tag. The good news, the heart and soul of the team’s defense will likely finish his career in K.C.
Contract: 6 years, $78 million

Instead, he let Poe walk into free agency. After an extensive round of visits to four different franchises, Poe signed with the Atlanta Falcons
