Both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Chiefs fandom have had a difficult week dealing with the changes at the running back position.

Seth Keysor rejoins us from Arrowheadpride.com to talk about both the past and the future of the running back position.

It’s been a few days since the signing of Jamaal Charles by the Denver Broncos. After initial reaction by Chief fans to the shock of the signing, reality has begun to set in. Whether Charles is able to actually play against his former team remains to be seen. He has shown progress in his recovery from injury in the last few weeks, but nothing is certain. He could return and be the force that he was prior to his second ACL injury, or he might not be able to take the field at all in 2017.

Chiefs incumbent Spencer Ware looks to be the lead back for the Kansas City in 2017, but how much workload will he relinquish to third round draft pick Kareem Hunt? Together, Ware and Hunt make a dynamic 1-2 punch for the Chiefs. They are similar athletically and could share the workload more than initially expected. We will begin to get a glimpse of Hunt as rookie camp opens Saturday.
