The Kansas City Chiefs front office could lose another man in Brett Veach if rumors are true about the Buffalo Bills GM opening.
The Kansas City Chiefs should get used to higher turnover in their front office for the next few years. The team already lost Chris Ballard to the Indianapolis Colts as their new general manager. Now they could do the same with co-director of player personnel Brett Veach, who is a hot candidate to replace Doug Whaley as the Buffalo Bills general manager.
Veach came over to the Chiefs from Philadelphia where he was on staff along with Andy Reid with the Eagles as an assistant to the coach. He soon became an area scout and worked his way up in the ranks to his current role, one he shares with Mike Borgonzi.
Veach has not only gleaned much training and perspective from working alongside Reid for so many years, but has now also been grafted into the Ron Wolf tree by working under general manager John Dorsey. Dorsey is a former staff member of the Green Bay Packers and is a key branch from Wolf’s own executive tree, a list that includes fellow GMs like Reggie McKenzie of the Raiders and John Schneider of the Seahawks.
