Locked on Chiefs: Draft Day 2 brings Kpassagnon and Hunt
By Ryan Tracy
Kansas City Chiefs continued to orchestrate maneuvers and make surprising selections on day two of the NFL draft.
Kansas City made to surprising selections on Friday in the form of defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon and Kareem hunt.
Both players have a attributes John Dorsey looks for in prospective draft picks. Kpassagnon is a smart, physically unique athlete that was a leader at Villanova. He was successful as an outside rusher in a four-man front during his college career. His career totals included 35.3% of his plays may or behind the line of scrimmage.
Kareem hunt enjoyed a very successful Senior Bowl. He continues the trend of John Dorsey finding prospects he likes at that event. Hunt ran for over 4900 yards Toledo and showed excellent explosion in his pre-draft testing.
Both players will be challenged by position groups that have plenty of talent on board already. They will likely progress slowly and earn playing time in their first couple of seasons.
