Pick: 16
Team: Baltimore Ravens
Selection: Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan

Corey Davis is an interesting player. Davis will not wow you with blazing speed, nor will he jump out of the stadium. What makes Davis standout is his ability to do all of the little things right. Davis is a phenomenal route runner and did nothing but produce for the Chippewas.

As a freshman, Davis caught 67 balls for 941 yards and six touchdowns. In a matchup with Michigan State, Davis hauled in eight receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown. Davis’ did not disappoint as a sophomore, finishing the 2014 season with 78 receptions for 1,408 yards and 15 touchdowns. Davis started his junior season with 10 catches for 154 yards and one touchdown against Michigan State. This became a pattern for Davis, who finished just two games with less than six receptions. Davis finished his junior season with 89 receptions for 1,429 yards and 12 touchdowns. His final and best season came in 2016 when he finished with 97 receptions for 1,500 yards and 19 touchdowns.

NFL.com gave Davis a grade of 6.23 (instant starter) and that is what the Baltimore Ravens need after the retirement of Steve Smith. Davis would fit in perfectly next to Breshad Perriman and Mike Wallace. [Anthony Crane]
