Trades were allowed in this first and only mock for the 2017 NFL Draft from the staff writers of Arrowhead Addict.

After weeks of endless rumors and mock drafts, the real thing, the official 2017 NFL Draft, is finally just around the corner. In a matter of days, hundreds of college NFL hopefuls will experience a myriad of emotion as they rise and fall down draft boards—or even off of them entirely. As fans of the Kansas City Chiefs, it will be very interesting to see where and how they use the 10 picks available to them.

To get a better understanding of how Thursday’s first round might fall, we decided to do an Arrowhead Addict staff mock draft. We even allowed trades, of which there were a few. Some teams moved up to get the future for the franchise — ahem Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs. Other teams allowed the draft to fall to them and found some surprises waiting.

Before we get to any of those teams, however, we have to get to the Cleveland Browns, who own this draft and the next with their incredible amount of top picks. How will they use their two top 12 selections? Let’s take a closer look by getting this mock party started. Here’s our first and only mock draft for the 2017 event.
