The Kansas City Chiefs continue their scouting efforts both abroad and at home.

The Kansas City Chiefs had scouts in Manitoba, Canada last week checking on an offensive line prospect. The Chiefs have a history of success there with the emergence of guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif out of Montreal, and they’ve consistently scouted Canadian college football.

The team also held their local pro day with players from area schools including the University of Kansas, Kansas State University and the University of Missouri.

The biggest name at the Kansas City local pro day was likely Kansas State’s Jordan Willis. Willis has been rising up draft boards as an outside edge rusher in recent weeks. His athletic ability is at the top of this class and this is the third time the Chiefs have met with him. They had meetings at the combine and were also at Kansas State’s pro day on March 15th.
