We asked Kansas City Chiefs fans if they would be excited for the city to host a future NFL Draft and the response was across-the-board excitement.

Last week, Kansas City Chiefs President Mark Donovan spoke about the team’s desire to be a future host site for the annual NFL Draft. Specifically, Donovan mentioned that it was something the team was “definitely” going to pursue and that they were, in fact, also sending personnel to this year’s draft in Philadelphia to figure out the logistics of pulling off the event.

Chicago hosted the draft just last year and this year is Philadelphia, and the league hasn’t voted on next year’s site just yet — it could be Philly once again — but given how well the events are going, the Chiefs are wise to speak up for Kansas City. It’s been a great fan base and one of the NFL’s loudest, so rewarding the region with an extra event for super fans should be on the table.

However, we also wanted to get a sense of what Chiefs fans thought of a draft in Kansas City. We asked on social media and the responses were largely positive, with 83% of respondents saying they would be interested in attending the event.
