The Kansas City Chiefs were one of several NFL franchises represented at the Kennesaw State pro day.

The Kansas City Chiefs were represented at Kennesaw State’s pro day earlier this week, the second such pro day after making their inaugural turn just last year. This spring, the Chiefs were joined by the Raiders, Colts, Chargers, Falcons, Giants, Packers and more, including the Toronto Argonauts from the Canadian Football League.

Everyone was there to largely watch three prospects perform a series of drills: Chaston Bennett, Dante Blackmon, and Derrick Farrow. Blackmon weighed in at 5-10, 193 lbs and ran a 4.53 40-yard dash. He had 6 interceptions last year for the Owls.

Chaston Bennett is a slight running back at 5-10, 162 lbs. who rushed 57 times for 672 yards and 9 touchdowns this season. He also caught 13 passes for 315 yards. Farrow came in at just under 5-10 and right at 200 lbs. He had 47 tackles and 1 interception last season, and ran his 40-yard dash in 4.58 seconds.

If general manager John Dorsey likes Blackmon enough to take a late round flyer, it would be the second straight year doing so after taking D.J. White in the sixth round last season.
