Texas A&M announced the hiring of Kevin Patullo, former Chiefs coach, as a new offensive analyst.

The Texas A&M Aggies have a brand new offensive analyst, not coach, to add to the mix with the hiring of former Kansas City Chiefs coach Kevin Patullo.

Marvez has the report on Patullo’s addition as an analyst, because the team has already eclipsed the allowable number of official coaches.

Patullo served with the Chiefs for two seasons, from 2007-08, as an offensive quality control coach under head coach Herm Edwards. During those seasons, the Chiefs won a total of 6 games and were sitting in the bottom of the AFC West basement—not that Patullo caused the Chiefs to start quarterbacks like Damon Huard or Brodie Croyle.

After serving on the staff of the Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans, Patullo has been the New York Jets quarterback coach for the last two seasons before being fired earlier this year. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to do anything with young draft picks like Christian Hackenberg, Bryce Petty or Geno Smith.
