Just because you don’t hear much about the Kansas City Chiefs at this point doesn’t mean John Dorsey isn’t plenty busy.

The first day of free agency is in the books, and if you’re a Kansas City Chiefs fan, there’s relatively little news among the noise. Quarterbacks are being traded way just for the cap relief. The Cleveland Browns are stocking up draft picks like the Grinch and Christmas presents. Several teams feel like they’re making moves just to make them. Meanwhile, Bill Belichick is taking a Super Bowl team’s offense and making it that much more dangerous with the potential addition of Brandin Cooks.

Several questions still have to be answered, and free agency is actually a very long process that will continue for some time. The Chiefs have plenty of work to do and will remain very busy, even if John Dorsey doesn’t give a press conference soon to announce his latest big signing. From restricted free agents to hosting under-the-radar free agents, Dorsey’s work will happen in the trenches. This is exactly what deep and talented teams do.

Here’s a closer look at what’s next for the Chiefs.
