If the Chiefs can identify just two players who’ll get real consideration, as future starters at their respective positions, they’ll have done themselves a great service. Dorsey’s tenure depends on his ability to establish a new core of foundational talent. If he succeeds, he extends the window of opportunity for Kansas City and keeps the pressure off of the front office. Failure will spoil the opportunities he was afforded on the way in and send him out the door much in the same way as the previous general manager.
Do you think it’s time for the Chiefs to find successors at the aforementioned positions? Which prospects would you like to see chosen to be part of the team’s next changing of the guard? Use the comment section below to weigh in on the subject. As always, we appreciate your readership and support.
