The Kansas City Chiefs have had some truly great running backs play for them over the last few decades, which makes this sort of question a difficult one to answer. Each generation will claim that the one player they watched was the best, and it’s also important to take in the context of the rest of the league at the time the player played. Historic figures will be less popular because there are simply less witnesses around to attest to their greatness.
