#1: Jamaal Charles owns Oakland

This game still stands as one of the greatest performances by a running back in NFL history. Charles would prove to the Oakland Raiders that even if they knew exactly where he was going, they could not stop him. He accounted for 30 of the Chiefs 56 points that day and 215 of their 384 offensive yards. Only three players have more touchdowns (non-passing) in a single game than the 5 Charles put up that day.

The best part of it all was that most of the scoring plays were very similar. The screen decimated the Raiders to the point where it became laughable.  And who here doesn’t love to laugh at the Raiders?

Charles finished the game with only 20 yards rushing but 195 yards receiving. Just 20 seconds into the game he scored his first touchdown on a 49 yard screen pass from Alex Smith. More of the same would follow with passes of 39, 16, and 71 yards to Charles, all for scores. It boggles the mind that it worked over and over again for the Chiefs despite the obvious nature of the play calls. The win over the Raiders clinched a playoff berth for the Chiefs and the team MVP award for Charles.
