2. A.J. Bouye

Terrance Mitchell played some really good football the last two months of the season for Kansas City, but if Bouye hits the market, Dorsey should really consider making a huge offer. At 25 years old, Bouye is the best player you have never heard of. He is a willing tackler and can cover in space, using both speed and great technique.

Should the Houston Texans fail to use the franchise tag on him, and that is certainly possible, Bouye will be the top corner on the market. The Chiefs famously tried to sign Darrelle Revis a few years ago, but settled on drafting some kid named Marcus Peters.

In today’s NFL, it is all about throwing the ball and being able to defend against it. With Peters and Bouye, Kansas City would have the best cornerback duo in the game. The Chiefs would also have MItchell in dime situations and as depth against injury. Assuming Berry returns (more on that soon), Kansas City would have the best secondary in football.
