Late Start seals the Deal

So the bank is open? What an ending to a tremendous game in Denver for the walking wounded…I mean the Chiefs. Kansas City went into Denver and scored 30 points on the league’s best defense (statistically speaking). Their offense couldn’t do anything to get anything going in the first three quarters of the football game and then Alex Smith decided it would be a great time to start playing some football. Smith went to lead the Chiefs on 2 game tying drives in the fourth quarter and OT and then the game winner in OT as well.

The Chiefs defense showed up early with keeping the Broncos to only 3 points in the first half. Justin Houston gets three sacks in the first half and a forced fumble as well. Houston spent most of the night in the Denver backfield and played a spectacular game for KC down the stretch. The Chiefs corners struggled throughout the night but getting Ford back and hopefully Howard and Poe as well should help them get more pressure and take pressure off the back end.

Hill has huge All-around game in Primetime

Tyreek Hill shows you what speed can do if you have a coach that will get you involved. More importantly though for Hill is showing his growth as a WR and his knowledge of the game. There were two separate instances where Hill caught the ball, got a first down and went immediately to the ground. While some may question those efforts, it was very smart football. Knowing the situation and knowing how important time was.
