Phillip Giants is back at practice (sort of)
Lost in the news of D.J. White breaking his hand, was the fact that Phillip Gaines was back at practice on Wednesday. Gaines has had an up and down season in trying to recover from his 2015 knee injury. With White’s injury, the hope is that Gaines will be ready to go against the Colts. He was, however, a limited participant and that needs watching as the week goes on.

Ramik Wilson has had his own ups and downs. From starting games in 2015, to be cut out of training camp. Final he landed back on the Chiefs practice squad and was called up for last week’s game.
Wilson made the most of it, playing the best game of his young career. He amassed 8 tackles, one for a loss. Its a positive one for a position that has been dismantled by injures to Josh Mauga and Justin March. Wilson has experience and a new found intensity. He will have the opportunity to stake a claim the MIKE linebacker position with his play during this middle stretch of the season. If he can play well during this time, it could effect the decision to bring Justin March back from IR.
