Locked on Chiefs – Ben Allbright stops by to talk KC future
By Ryan Tracy
After last week’s loss, Chiefs #1 receiver Jeremy Maclin spoke about what his focus will be over the bye week.
Speaking with Terez Paylor, Maclin said he plans on staying in town and will work on getting his focus back. Maclin appeared to be much closer to the player fans have come to love and expect on Sunday night against the Steelers. After a couple of games where he appeared to be a little off it is good for him to re-focus. Maclin is dealing with a highly personal loss in his life and most people would struggle after losing someone close. The Chiefs have a great need for Maclin to be the best he can be and I expect that he will be completely focused and ready when the Chiefs play the Oakland Raiders.

On Wednesday night Chiefs TE Travis Kelce’s TV show Catching Kelce debuted. Catching Kelce is a series about 50 women, one from each state competing to become Kelce’s girlfriend. This show was taped in March shortly after Travis signed his extension. Kelce will have a little bit of a distraction over the next couple weeks as fans and his teammates get to see the situations that he was in when filming. It looks to be an entertaining look at one of the NFL’s youngest stars. Fans don’t generally get the close up view of players they love so I imagine it will be a popular show. Kelce must be ready for it to be over as the girl he chooses at the end must still be a secret for the show to have any draw.
