Coffee with the Chiefs – Charles in charge?

We hit all the Kansas City Chiefs news.

Good morning, Addicts. We are through the padded practice portion of Kansas City Chiefs training camp, and only have one more day at St. Joe’s. After that, the Chiefs will travel to Los Angeles on Friday before taking on the Rams at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

Kansas City made some national news on Tuesday with the return of Jamaal Charles, who was activated off the PUP list. Charles practiced a bit but packed it in early, something the team stressed was planned. It is highly unlikely that we see Charles in any preseason games, as he continues to get ready for the Sept. 11 regular-season opener.
