Kansas City Chiefs vs Seattle Seahawks: Game Notes
My fellow members of the Chiefs Kingdom, just how good did it feel to watch the Kansas City Chiefs finally take the field and play an actual football game against another team on Saturday? I know its only the preseason and I know they lost to the Seattle Seahawks on a Hail Mary on the final play of the game, but it was still SO refreshing. It was refreshing like a cold glass of water after wondering through the desert for days. If I wasn’t already bouncing off the walls in anticipation, the opening video production on the Chiefs broadcast pretty much sent me over the edge. So yes, just seeing the Chiefs play football was satisfying, but once that initial excitement subsided it was time to actually analyze what was happening on the field.
For the past several seasons I always watch preseason games with a notebook handy so I can take note of anything (good or bad) that catches my eye. There are so many different players that see the field in these games I want to make sure I don’t forget anyone. So my post this week will simply be taking you through my game notes from this game; who did well, who disappointed, and everything in between.
I’ve broken the notes down into offensive and defensive observations. Since the Chiefs started off with the ball let’s go ahead and address the offense first.
