Foles is a stop gap. Kansas City is best served by him toting a clipboard at the far end of the field this season. Any contribution from Davis would be a bonus. Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware have all but made him obsolete offensively. In all likelihood, he’ll have to continue to earn his stripes from special teams play. The key factor for the success of this football team in the season forthcoming rests in the hands of young offensive linemen Ehinger and Duvernay-Tardif. The altitude of this offense depends upon their ability to avoid being the weakest links in the group.

What’s on your mind as the Chiefs play the back nine of training camp? Can Knile Davis overcome being buried on the depth chart at running back? Is the addition of Foles the death knell for Tyler Bray and Aaron Murray? Can the young guards be counted upon to plug the holes in this offensive line group?
